Night of the Living Dead. Call for entries.
A showcase of unproduced/killed work. This poster was not used as the event’s Call for Entries for the following reasons:
• Incorrect logo. • Unnecessary use of curse word. • Barely legible/uninspired headline. • Unauthorized use of Walter “Clyde” Frazier. • Confusing inclusion of “AUSPICIOUS” shout out. • And most importantly, The One Club never asked my partner or me to design a Call for Entries (but we sent it in anyway).
Since this Call for Entries never ran, it was therefore eligible to be entered in the “Night of the Living Dead.” In spite of these obstacles, The One Club featured this in their show. True story.
